When I considered doing this I was advised to get a professional. It is difficult, messy and has a history of poor results. I used a professional and it has lasted about ten years.
Thanks, Cindy and Ruth. It seems like it works great for some people and not for others. I'll take it all under advisement before I decide. I do know that the tub is disgusting the way it is and I don't want to have to tear the bathroom apart....
You're very welcome.
It doesn't. Can paint outside but inside will NOT last and u end up bathing with potcdlin paint chips. I'm to figure how to remove that paint!
It was a porcelin epoxy kit made for tub refinishing. Followed directions. Started peeling off in a couple months on areas that were under water. Chips are everywhere. Trying to find out HOW to remove epoxy paint entirely.
