Can you tell me how to paint mason jars? I love mason jars and I want to add some to my decor. But I don't actually know how to paint them. Can someone give me directions and details about how to do this? Thank you!

The easiest way is to pour some paint into them and roll the jar around gently so it moves up the sides. Then touch up the paint with a brush where needed.

You can also glitter them for glamour. Either put white glue known as PVA in England, allover then sprinkle on glitter. Then let dry. Then add watered down glue to the top to seal glitter.

You can also spray paint them.

Or use alcohol inks or glass paints.

You'll want to paint your jars with an adhesive primer before you paint with your desired paint color. Otherwise the paint will scratch and peel off easily.

This is actually pretty fun and I like to use chalk paint and a cheapo paint brush. Just brush on the paint and let it dry.

Just seeing this - that's right it's pretty amazing. However if you place them outdoors you may want to add a clear seal.
