If the other 3 walls are painted white then use that wall as an accent wall.
Get a bunch of cheap picture frames from a dollar store spray paint them or Big Lots or Ikea and frame lots of favorite photos or even pictures from magazines. Add floor length white drapes, a few small mirrors scattered among the framed pictures, and maybe some houseplants to break up the amount of green wall that is actually visible.
You could add a glaze to it:

Hi Dottie, this link provides some ideas that might suit what you're wanting to do with the turquoise paint.

If you feel that painting over the entire wall is necessary, before you purchase paint, go to one of these links which enable you to 'paint' your room a different color to see what it may look like in real life.

Have you picked out a paint color that you'd like to change it too? I'd paint over the turquoise with a primer and then paint on a few coats of the new color.
You will probably have to repaint... I would try to get lighter paint samples and then prime the walls and paint a huge square of each sample on a poster board and see how it looks on the wall.
Turquoise is tough to cover. I'd start with a good quality primer and then repaint with your new color.
repainting is the best solution
