How can I paint a white shiny wall board in my bathroom?

stencilg or striping?
If you are thinking of something similar to a wallpaper border, only paint, just remember they are not being used much anymore and will give a dated look.
Start with making a template or design on cardboard. Place the cardboard at the top, and with your design, paint over the cut out you made. Ex. A star, cut a star out of cardboard, and use the cardboard, and paint where the opening is. Move the cardboard to the next space, and so on.
If you're willing to put a little elbow grease into it, paris of plaster relief borders are pretty and subtle. You draw your pattern using stencils, then put plaster of paris into a cake decorator bag with a largish tip and fill in your stenciled art. There's detailed instructions to be found on YouTube of course. I hope you post your finished work!
Stenciling is always pretty and does not require the tedious effort of taking down wallpaper and glue later on. Just go with your taste...simple single color or several colors!
