I would consider using a good paint stripper, like Citristrip, and starting again. Make sure your surface is clean and dry before applying a primer base and then painting.

I think that I forgot to apply the primer. First project as DIYer.
Thanks for sharing your tips with me.

I agree that it needs to be stripped off. The way most of us have learned with projects is by having a disaster (or many). What has been done can be undone and done over with hard earned experience.
Start with just one piece, strip it, sand it, clean it up. Make sure you are using a good paint meant for appliances, and follow the directions carefully. Once you have accomplished the one appliance, you will find your confidence increasing with each one you do. It is tempting to do them all at once, but, give yourself the time to do one over at a time. You'll be less likely to rush through important steps. Hang in there, you've got this!

only thing I can think of is to use a good appliance paint (it is going to be more expensive then any other paint)

That's is totally true, I did it..I think the problem was the painter techniques LoL was my first project as DIYer . For the stove I buy one specific paint for hot temperatures appliances. But I will try again. Maybe I just need to get more confidence. I really appreciate your help!

I had a gruesome avocado green dishwasher, wanted it painted. Took the door off and took it to an auto body paint shop. They sprayed and baked it! Held up for 10 years. Couldn't tell it wasn't original. You must strip off the old paint. Either use spray paint or a foam roller, not a brush. Always do your prep work! Good luck.
