I think it will. If you have a small piece you want to paint, maybe take it to the home improvement store paint department and ask the staff there. Another idea, use a plastic bag around the piece and then tape it such a way that only the bottom is pf the brass piece is showing and spray the Rustoleum on that and see if it gets the look you like, if so, then you can do the rest with confidence. If not, you've not done the entire piece. From experience, several light coats are must better than one or two heavy coats. Hope this helps you.

I would say yes but use extreme caution and cover all surrounding surfaces with painters plastic with tape. Overstay from an aerosol can will undoubtedly settle on everything. Use an extra fine grit sandpaper and gently sand the surfaces you want to spray. Wipe clean with a damp washcloth and allow to dry before applying paint. Use short bursts back and forth from about six inches away making sure not to lay down too much at a time otherwise it will run.

Glass or brass? If brass, you will need a n etching metal primer first. There are better options than rustoleum, however. Several paint manufacturers make a DTM paint (direct to metal) but they are not usually available at the big box stores. Go to a paint specialty store.

I should have clarified. It’s some glass decor but painted to look like a brass color. Now in my new house the bathroom is brushed nickel. I really like these candle holders & the brass colored vase. I was thinking painting them but wasn’t sure.

I've used the Rustoleum silver metal spray paint on cabinet pulls with great results. I've even used it on glass mason jars for decor. Works nice, although it did try it on a wood panel insert and came out looking like tin foil which was not what I wanted. Just try a small spot or be ready to wash it off immediately if you don't like the look.

You are most welcome. I hope it turns out the way you plan and it would be great to see pics of the finished project!.
