Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
I have been painting my walls and notice that my ceiling looks yellowish. Can I paint this ceiling as well? I'm up for any ideas
no, I wouldn't because the wall paint may drip on the woodwork, whereas the woodwork painting would be done with a brush so more control.
Hi Jan, I think you should paint the walls and then paint the base boards. If you are going to paint the ceiling too, start with ceiling first. Always "top to bottom" when it comes to painting.
I usually paint the walls before the base boards
Please - paint the walls first. If there are any accidental drips, they won't ruin your freshly painted baseboards.
Gently pry the baseboards off the walls and paint them separately. The walls can be painted close to the floor, the baseboards won’t have any drips and it’s much easier...once all is painted put the baseboards back on.
