What works best for painting oak kitchen cabinets Brush or sprayer?

They spray so easily on tv, don’t they? Generally in an unfinished house, so that any overspray doesn’t really matter.

I don’t know the answer for true, but if you decide to spray, tarp carefully. And practice first.

Otherwise, google tells me that many use brush and a small roller. There’s lots of educated advice there, including prepping oak cabinets properly.

I use a foam roller and foam brush. No brush marks.

Brush for me, unless you have a dedicated area to spray them that’s well ventilated and relatively dust free. Rustoleum Cabinet Transformation. Primer and paint in one, no sanding and/or stripping. Comes in a wide array of colors and glazes that really give your cabinets depth and character. Best brush I’ve ever used is from Ace Hardware. Their angled brush is fabulous!

A brush or roller would probably be best. I think spraying causes more drips unless you go very lightly, but then you have to do several coats. Drips happen any way you do it, so keep rechecking your work.

Brush or foam type paint device. Spraying would be hard to do, especially for the framework of the cabinets. You could remove the doors, drawers, etc. and take to a well ventilated area and spray those but probably just easier to do them all with the same device.

Definitely a high density foam roller over a brush... I would use a foam brush in the nooks and crannies.

I've never used a sprayer.
