When Wagner reached out to me to test out the Flexio 5000 Paint Sprayer I was ALL IN. Y’all know I am a huge DIYer and am constantly painting and refinishing furniture, remodeling my home, painting rooms etc. I’ve always wanted a paint sprayer, I just never pulled the trigger, so I was ecstatic to give it a try.

*The following is a sponsored post by Wagner but all opinions are my own.

What is the FlexiO 5000…

The Flexio 5000 is awesome! Not sure why I didn’t pull the trigger and get one sooner. The FLEXiO 5000 is a paint sprayer that comes with two nozzles, one for big surface projects like walls and ceilings and the other for small projects and fine finishing on furniture, cabinets and trim. It comes in this great container and everything fits into it perfectly making it so easy to store in your garage. I just love when things are easy!

Time for the Test…

I decided I’d test it out by painting an accent wall in my older son’s room. He has been asking me to paint an accent wall in his room forever, so I figured now was the perfect opportunity to give the FlexiO paint sprayer a try.

We decided to paint a smaller wall in his room for my first time (I didn't want to screw it up and I'm happy to say I didn't!!!). Also the color my son chose is bright orange (the color is called Mandarin by Behr) so I was worried about it being to bright (and it is pretty darn bright for my taste, but I actually like how it came out and he loves it too!).

Honestly the hardest part about this whole process was all the prep. You have to tape up plastic to protect walls and ceilings that you are not painting, at least 2 feet around. This part took me a long time and honestly I wish I had painted a bigger wall with less stuff to tape off! It would have been way easier.

Anyway….once everything was all taped up, I put my painting clothes on and was ready to start painting. The instructions were very easy to read and understand. They even came with a large piece of sample paper so you could ‘test’ out the machine to get a feel for how it sprays at different settings (you can see it below on the closet doors). There was also guide included on the directions on which setting to use, and which container to use (it comes with 2) depending on what you are painting. Easy peasy. You just plug in the machine, pour the paint into the container, snap it in, turn it on and start spraying.

Clean Up..

Cleaning the machine wasn’t to hard. I just poured any remaining paint from the container back into the can and then ran it under the sink. I did the same with the nozzle. It did take a little bit to get all the paint out of the nozzle but overall was not hard to do at all.

Finished Product…

And here is the finished product! It is very bright, but I like it! And more importantly, my son likes it too. I think the color goes perfectly with the navy blue he already has in there.

Overall I would highly recommend this product! I plan to use it A LOT. In fact, I already have an old bench that needs painting which I plan to do ASAP so stayed tuned for that.
