Stencils Are An Easy Way To Personalize Your Master Bedroom

We love a great makeover story especially when it involves using stencils to add personality and pattern. It's a no brainer for us since stencils are so easy to use and they are completely customizable. So Cutting Edge Stencils is excited to share a sweet makeover story using one of our favorite floral patterns, the Lady Slipper Allover.
Cutting Edge Stencils shares a DIY stenciled accent wall in a bedroom from Style Mutt Home using the Lady Slipper Allover pattern.
Chelsea's grandparents have moved into Chambrel retirement community. This particular community encourages its residents to decorate their apartments to really make it feel like it's their home. Chelsea decided to help her grandparents personalize their new space using our stencils. Here is the bedroom before the makeover:
Chelsea's grandparents are originally from Florida so she tried to keep this in mind when planning their bedroom accent wall. After browsing our stencil collections, she landed on a beautiful floral pattern, the Lady Slipper Allover. Chelsea used blue painter's tape to hold her stencil in place while she painted the pattern using a dense foam roller in Valspar's Carolina Inn Club Aqua and Valspar's Rose Buff.
After painting one section, she would un-tape the stencil and reposition it to stencil a new section. She did this until the pattern was complete on the accent wall.
Once the whole wall was stenciled, Chelsea put her grandparent's decor back in place. And here it is folks!
The subtle floral pattern adds a lot of personality to this bedroom.
The soft color combination is perfect for this feminine floral pattern.
