American Roach

One of the most common household pests, the American Roach. Averaging between 1/2-1 inch in length, with a reddish-brown color. They have six legs, two antennae and wings. Found throughout structures, but prefer warm & humid places (especially the kitchen & bathroom areas). They hide in cracks & crevices near food & water sources. Roaches are scavengers and eat almost anything. Due to their rapid reproductive rate, roaches can be very difficult to control. A licensed Pest Control technician can provide chemical solutions, however, success depends on the efforts of home owners as well. Homes need to be maintained on a daily basis, free of clutter & trash. Roaches pose serious health risks to your family. It has been reported that they spread over 33 different kinds of bacteria, six kinds of parasites and at least seven other kinds of human pathogens. This is why it is critical to begin the elimination process as soon as possible before a major infestations occurs.
