Cup measurement is generally volume, whereas pounds are weight.
What are you wanting to convert, and what is it that you are wanting to make?

A pound equals 16 oz. A 1 cup measuring cup is 8 oz so two 1 cup measuring cups would be 16 oz. However, I would use a kitchen scale to measure pounds not a measuring cup.

Depends. 1 lb. or powdered sugar is 4 cups. But 1 lb. of packed brown sugar is 2 1/4 cups. Are you measuring dry products or dry to liquid?

I would think that would depend on the density of the material, dry ingredients would be 16 oz. equal a pound. or a two cup measuring cup.

Sorry, you can't equate volume to weight without knowing the density of the product. 16 Oz of volume in a measuring cup does not equal 16 Oz of weight for every material.
A pound of gold takes up much less volume than a pound of feathers.

Best to use a kitchen scale for recipe accuracy, especially when baking.

The Old Farmer's Almanac suggests that 1 pound (lb) of carrots should give you 3 ½ cups of shredded or sliced carrots.
