Paint. Peel and stick vinyl floor tile. People have used them on walls.
Amazon has styrofoam ceiling tiles that you peel and stick or glue up, you can also paint and cut them:

Paint, stencil, or foam ceiling panels would look fabulous.
Epoxy is the recommended type of paint for concrete. Not only is it specifically designed to adhere to the surface of the concrete, it also fills in chips and cracks, creating a smooth and attractive finish. White -- the most commonly used ceiling color -- lifts the height of the ceiling, creating a brighter, lighter space. For a slightly warmer feel, light neutrals such as rich cream and ivory maintain the light and spacious feel, without the cold feel of white. To lower a high ceiling and create a more cozy vibe, opt for slightly deeper, warmer hues.
Painting them will work. Or you can also try a peel and stick vinyl.
Bead board is a great look, easy to cut and install and is super thin. Loctite heavy duty adhesive in caulking tube will hold it up. 4' x 8' sheets less than $20 at Home Depot.
Leave it white or paint any color. Loctite only takes a few minutes to set up.
You can redo with a minimum height change by using wallpaper, paint, or paneling. There are many choices if you take a trip to your local home improvement store.
You could just paint it but if they need patched, you can use a concrete patching compound. You will need to etch the existing concrete so that it will adhere.
Painting them is the easiest and quickest. Just be aware that adhering things to it might be problematic for when you go to sell so either choose wisely or make sure it’s easy to remove.
