How can I get rust out of this marble piece?

This marble piece is just another “treasure” from my parents’ house that I have had for several years. I actually found it going through some of my stash boxes. Had forgotten I even had it. The piece can hold a bottle of wine but I don’t think that would have caused the rust. I’m thinking it maybe held some kitchen utensils. But not really sure. Any help any of you can give me on removal of the rust would be greatly appreciated.

You can make a slurry of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Spread it over the stain and let sit until it dries, Then just wipe off.

i am afraid nothing would work .. marble is super pourous so it is already in the grain .. I am sorry .. I would actually think about a way how can you embrace that stain
Marble is very pouruse take a cloth bigger then the size of the rust soak in bleach and a little water tini bit of water let it sit over night.
I would first try rust remover that I get from walmart. Comes in a rust colored bottle. Put some on a rag and try rubbing it off. You might just pour it on or in, wherever it is, too.
