How can I get your team to help me in my backyard?
My 6 acre lake has been ruined from the hurricane Florence in sept 2018.The excessive relentless rainfall cracked open a section of earth causing a great loss of water. My goal was to stock fish .This lake also was a home for many wild life and waterfowl. I am saddened.

So sad to hear of the damage caused by the storm, I totally understand , my area was hit by superstorm Sandy and there are still lots of areas that have n't recovered. You have my deepest sympathies...maybe try contacting local conservatory, or land management and see if they can help steer you in the right direction. Good luck !!!
Hi Teresa,
Pamela's ideas are good ones. I too am sad to hear about the damage caused by the storm. To my knowledge, Hometalk is only helping people to learn how to do projects in a testing area which is in Houston, TX. There are a lot of organizations doing their best to help others in the hurricane area. However, they each have their own focus and I was unable to find one specifically for your situation. Try connecting with your local county Cooperative Extension group. They might have more helpful information. Wishing you the best.
Teresa Hi,. You need a soil engineer, to help you restore the patch that's cracked. Go to HomeAdvisor.com and type in soil engineer. This should give you a few names, you can also use Angie's List. Hope this gets resolved, I love nature also. Aloha!
