How can I clean up after currey?

The sauce it too spicy for our taste

    You can lower the spiciness of food by adding dairy products, such as butter or cream.

    You can add less curry, as well.

    Serve curry with rice, naan bread and/or plain yogurt or raita, which is yogurt and raw vegetables like cucumber. Delish!

    I would add the curry and taste test it, you can always add more, not take it away. That way you can decrease the hot and still taste the curry flavor. Add enough so you have an acceptable heat level. I make a creamed chicken dish that I added curry to once because it was too bland and it has become the dish every one wants for their birthday dinner. None of my family likes real hot, so I just add until it is just right. We put peas on top and have it on rice or toast or a combination of both, the peas seem to temper it a bit too.

    You will also find that having Ginger Ale to drink with spicey curry will cut the burn .....

    If the odor is lingering, wash your stove exhaust filters and wipe the undersides as well as fronts of your cabinets. 😇
