Rent an edge floor sander. Check in your local home improvement or hardware store.
You can rent an edge sander or use an electric hand held sander.
We hand sanded the edges with a palm sander.

Youo can rent and "edger" sander at your local small equipment rental shop to get the job done.
We used a hand held sander for our edges, worked well.
Do it by ha d or go to ho e depot and get a sand block a soft one and you should be able to get close to wall with that you could do it by hand to.
