Getting a mild perm can help. Styling products can also help.

Sounds like you have hair like mine. My hair is fine and thin so I use a very stiff mousse and after I comb it through, using a hand mirror, I make sure I get that area combed / covered well with a fine tooth comb. Sometimes just to be on the safe side, I use either a hair clip or a bobby pin to hold it in place till it's dry and ready to style. Hope this helps. Most people do not realize how thin my hair is

Sadly, you might have a cowlick there. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowlick ) If you do, there's not much you can permanently do. Water, mousse, spray, etc. will help temporarily. The best thing to do is to find someone who can cut your hair taking into account that cowlick. I have one at the top back of my head but you don't see it because my hairdresser knows how to cut hair so that it doesn't show.

this is a very strange question for this site sorry honestly it would be in your best interest to talk to your hair dresser

I agree with Janet!! You may be getting it cut too short at the back, in which case, nearly everyone's hair has a tendency to split or separate at the back. If you're a woman, a tiny bit of back-combing might help hold the hair in "one piece" or section but ask your hairdresser for advice like Janet suggested.

An experienced stylist will recognize what causes it to do that and will style your hair to correct or make use of its behavior.

I had it cut short which made it really bad. Now I'm growing my hair longer but I'm still having the same problem & I just hate my hair. It's really starting to thin out but I'm just fed up.
