I'm hoping to turn my garden this weekend if the rain holds off. Should I cut my ornamental grasses back now?

Yes, late winter or early spring, before new growth begins, is the best time to cut back ornamental grasses.

You want to cut them back just before they start their spring growth. Given how mild your winter was, now is probably the perfect time.

Remember to cut as low as possible without damaging the center crown. You don't want a big accumulation of dead debris in the center of the plant.
