Did you see the precious idea someone posted with a "Dollar" store gold plastic charger hung from the ceiling?
This might help you. I had a nightstand that I loved but I had to raise my bed which made my night stand too short. I looked at trying to put legs on the bottom of the nightstand and it wasn't going to work. I went to Home Depot, had them cut 4 boards. I used the 4 inch board. I used L brackets to put it together in a square, I stained it with the same color of my nightstand and I attached it to the bottom of my night stand with straight brackets, one screw into the nightst and one screw into the base, on the inside, on all 4 sides. It raised the nightstand to where I needed it. It looks great and it's functional and it was a cheap fix. Hope this helps.
