Yes, it's a wonderful site. But at one time HGTV had forums very much loved by its members and they stopped having them. Some of us are still suffering from withdrawal.
Jan, so true! I used to have a pleasant social life w/o a care in the world and totally ignorant of what things were made of. Never heard of. shiplap, backsplash, laminate, etc. Then I got my first hometalk email...needless to say Facebook, bingo, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene are no longer duable. My time is spent reading everything, and I mean every last word, of hometalk. Takes more than a half day to finish...
It will be here as long as the interest in the site stays good. Thank you for your interest in Hometalk, this is what will keep all of us around!
