    Yes, whatever you want to organize, you should be able to find on Hometalk.com. Click on Browse in the upper left hand corner and scroll down to the Organizing option. Then click on whichever tab is applicable; for instance “Basement” if that is what you want to organize. Good luck!

    I love the cloth covered boxes with a designated space on the front for labels. Easy to find what you are looking for, but no one can see a (potential) mess inside. Living in Florida - the land of no basements - I have learned to look up, as in adding higher shelving in closets or on walls. Using these two ideas - cloth boxes and looking up - I “discovered” several linear feet of storage space above my washer and dryer.

    •I store things in clear plastic jars/jugs; I can see what’s in them.
    •I put stackable decorative boxes on top of tall book shelves. I number them; keep an alphabetical log of the contents. •I keep all paper things in filing cabinets; every file labeled.
    •Bed sheets, blankets in covered plastic bins under each bed.
    •DVDs in small dollar store basket cubicles; stackable, portable and sorted by movie genres.
    •Shoe bags inside closet doors hold gloves, scarves, knit hats, socks, belts, sun glasses.
    •Plastic drawers under the clothes hold shoes, purses, sweaters.
    •Folded jeans, sweats on the top shelf.
