Ornament wreath?
After seeing so many beautiful wreaths I want one. I bought the ornaments from hobby lobby and dollar tree different sizes. I also bought a styrofoam wreath shape. I started to hot glue and they all keep falling off. No matter how long I hold them to dry the glue I tried gluing them to each other and still they fall off. I turned down the glue gun and no luck. Please help!! I watched one gal explaining it and I was doing what she said but still they fall off. I'm not using a cheap glue stick not even sure if that matters.

My issue is they won't stick I tried lots of the glue stick, barely any of it. Some stick fine others won't stick at all. I have watch the videos and the written instructions and I think I am doing what they say but for whatever reason I have issue with them falling off, I hold them for a while, I even tried to put something to hold the ornaments up so they wouldn't fall off. I finally gave up last night and moved on to doing cone trees with soft fuzzy yarn and that is a success every time. So I am stumped on this. I might try the wire hanger like Ann said above, if I can find a wire hanger I don't know if I have any at all. Thanks for all your replies if you have any tips on getting them to stick to the Styrofoam that would be great but I am also at the point where I don't want to keep gluing them all if I am going to do it another way.

HOW TO MAKE AN {EASY} DIY ORNAMENT WREATHhttps://thehappierhomemaker.com/how-to-make-an-easy-diy-ornament-wreath/
That's odd Lori. I made one with plastic ornaments and had no problem with them sticking. You can find it here https://colormethrifty.com/2018/12/diy-christmas-ornament-wreath.html
There are two kind of styrofoam, the plasticky kind and the more styrofoamy kind. Sorry, I don't know how else to describe them because they are both marketed at styrofoam. Hot glue will melt styrofoam a little bit, but not enough to cause a big problem. In my experience anyway.
I hate glue guns. They are messy, leave strings and don't last well. Try E-6000. Takes a bit longer to dry but stays put. Do a few decorations at a time and use crinkled paper under what you are gluing to prop it up until the glue sets.
Thread a hairpin onto the wire holding the cap of the ornament on, then hot glue where the ornament will touch the wreath base while sticking the hairpin into the styrofoam as well.
You could wrap the styrofoam wreath with ribbon and then glue the ornaments to the ribbon.
I have no issues with mine staying on by using Dollar Tree glue sticks, wire wreath form wrapped in deco mesh, glue on the ornament and not the top of it. You could also try securing with chenille ties or floral wire.
Glue sticks and foam don’t always get along. Do the ornaments have the ring on top? If so, maybe some U shaped pins will work better. Or drop by your local home improvement store and look for a glue that holds plastic to styrofoam.
Look this up under Projects at top of Homepage
I would maybe try a different styrofoam form? Also, in this video she lays the wreath on the table and hot glues the ornaments to each other on the side and on the other side onto the wreath.

Hi Lori, here's a simpler way to make a gorgeous wreath in literally minute! You will need a wire hanger and unbreakable hanging ornaments of various sizes and colors, whatever you prefer, Voila!

Hello. You might want to try to wire it together. I have seen some creators unloosen a wire hanger and string the balls on that. Finally finishing with glued application on the existing wired ring.
I made one years ago with hot glue and glue sticks did work back then. Maybe hot glue formulations changed.
