A week ago I put my back out & went for a massage & she did wonders for me. I was on the road for recovery & then it went out again. I can hardly move right now. I need a fix ASAP.

Use ice to your back and gentle exercise, go on line to locate exercises

  • Call your doctor and see if it is more serious as you can do more damage if not a typical sprain or strain. I have had multiple back surgeries. Better to be safe than sorry. You need your back, please take care of it.

Sooo sorry. That is painful. If you haven't been evaluated by a MD, please consider that before all other options. Ice and heat alternating is one of the treatment plans...but you need to discover if there is more existing than just a muscle spasm.

Check with your doctor first, I have several spinal conditions and have to see Pain Management at least 3 times a year and take meds. I find that being able to get into a pool at least chest deep and moving around, walking or swimming helps tremendously. Being in the water that deep allows the spine to stretch or open up easing the nerves that get pinched.

Another massage and a tens machine

  • Sandy Sandy on Jun 22, 2017

yes, get a tens machine. Amazon sells them at a reasonable price. I have back problems and just love my tens machine. I buy them as gifts for people who have back problems. In case you don't know what a tens machine is - little machine powered by 9 volt battery that gives you electric pulses via pads that you attach to your body. You decide the intensity. Remember it's only a 9 volt battery so you don't need to be worried that it's too strong. It is awesome. They use them when you go to physical therapy.
