Solar battery replacement ?
I have 10 solar pathway lights that need replacement batteries. They came from Menard’s and of course they don’t have the size that I need. The size is 1.2 volt 400 mAh which I can’t find anywhere. Can I use another size?

Hello Chriss, here's a link that may help you out.
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=1.2+volt+400+mAh+batteries%3F
Amazon has them:
https://www.amazon.com/rechargeable-batteries-400mah-1-2V/s?k=rechargeable+batteries+400mah+1.2V
Yes I also checked and amazon.com carries these. If you have questions about if this product would work for you or not post a question. Your question will be sent to other customers as well as the manufacturer.
Check with Amazon.
Amazon! You can go with a higher mAH battery rating. 600 to 800 mAH would be fine. A battery with a larger mAh rating has no negative impact on electrical gadgets, and it will also supply you with long-run periods. For a rechargeable battery mAh refers to the amount of energy it can store in its cells and the time it can power up your gadget before entirely discharging. Of course it also depends on the solar cell and it will take longer to fully charge.
These are available on Amazon.com. Post a question if you're unsure about whether or not this product will work for you. Your query will be forwarded to the manufacturer and other clients.
Hi Chriss, if you can find little adapters, you can use smaller batteries, but you can order proper rechargeable batteries from Amazon, Walmart and many other online or actual stores, hope this helps you out,

Amazon sells them in all sizes
So long as the physical size of the battery is the same, you should be fine, meaning if it’s AAA for example, the same size will work. If the mAh is larger, you should get longer running time.
You can get them online in lots of places. Walmart has them! https://www.walmart.com/ip/400mAh-AA-NiCd-1-2v-Rechargeable-Batteries-Garden-Solar-Ni-Cd-Light-LED-F-Pack-of-20/822414611
