I got a wild hair! Nothing new though. I kept looking at this stool and wanted to do SOMETHING but didn’t know what. Well, I grabbed it up and threw some white paint on it. It’s drying now. No big deal if I ruin it but I’m Not sure what I’ll do next. Any ideas??

I think I would start over with this project. Looks like a nice wooden stool and some Formby's re finisher might take off these earlier efforts and allow you to STAIN it a dark color. best of luck with this.

I like the oval shape of the top. You could take the legs off and use the top to decoupage a picture on it, perhaps something for Christmas? OR Take the legs off and use the top to display your street number for the front of your house, maybe the porch?

I would sand the top to raw wood and stain it a medium or dark brown. Prime and paint the legs. Your color choice.

This little stool is a cutie. I can see the farmhouse look with this little stool. Stain the top a medium to dark and paint the legs a lite color. It would look cute as part of an arrangement on a table or bureau. I can see it also restored to all stain as it has a unique character to it with legs showing at the top. Have fun and enjoy it!
