First and foremost, start by talking with your Realtor. Depending on how long YOU have owned the property, THE SELLER IS LIABLE. Each state generally has their own laws and regulations in regards to Non-disclosure as this is a BIG no-no. Was your condo inspected by a licensed Inspector? If you are unable to get anywhere, contact your State Real Estate Board. Buyers are generally protected under their guidelines. It may take some time, but Keep pursuing! If a licensed Realtor was not involved, it may be in your best interest to talk with a Real Estate Attorney. (mine has saved my A@# on numerous occasions!) Best of luck to you! That's incredibly frustrating!
