Mike, that would depend on your local city water supply system. If your local water company is listed in the yellow pages or your phone book, you can call them to find the answers to your questions. Every town is different, every country is different, so that cannot be answered by hometalk unless a user happens to be in your town, in your part of your town. Hope this helps
You will need to contact your water company to have it checked or a plumber. It can vary greatly even from house to house depending on if there is a water regulator installed and the setting on that device.
DesertRose is right that water pressure can vary from one community to the next.
Also keep in mind that many shower heads and faucets sold now are advertised as 'water saving'. These have a less forceful water flow than ones not marked with this supposed feature.
