Re-vamp an Ole Planting Pot

My ole light blue ceramic pots didn't go with my new color scheme, im tyring to do after we moved to our new home 3 years ago. So saw a tip on an ole decorating show and bought some Jute rope and painted the rim of the pot also hid the long crack that it got from our move from SC to TX.
This is the after short and my new plant look nice and I finished the other planter and also got a matching plant to put on it. There's our Chuck looking over the deck.
This is the part before and painted the rim only. I bring my TV & wireless cable out when I'm doing jobs like this it helps me catch up on my shows and my husband sits looking out. :-)
