Easiest Air Conditioner Install in a Slider Window
3 Materials
This is a very simple, inexpensive and easy way to install an Air Conditioner in a slider window without buying an A/C made for slider windows. All that is needed is a 2 things a steel bar cut to the size of the window plus 3-4 inches and a piece of plexiglass, glass or cardboard. The steel bar and the plexiglass/glass can be purchased and cut to size at Lowes or Home Depot. I have used this method for over 6 years and it is so simple but works perfectly.

I started this because I didn't want to pay the extra expense for a slider window air conditioner.
