Save money with this homemade stove and heat an entire room in a simple way. Make your own low cost heater with a couple of pots and some candles. DIY heating!

What You Need for This Project

Tools

  • Lighter

Materials

  • Tablecloth or wooden stand
  • Heat-resistant bowl (I use terracotta shallow pot)
  • Large pot
  • Small pot
  • Coin
  • Rack
  • Candles
Light the Candles

First determine how many candles can fit into the heat-resistant bowl. Then proceed to light all the candles.

Place the candles in a heat-safe holder

Place the candles in a heat-safe holder, such as a bowl.

Place a tablecloth or wooden stand to protect the surface. (I use a wooden stand, but it's entirely up to you)

Place the racks where the pots will go

When you place the rack, you must be careful with the height so that oxygen can still enter the candles.

The closer it is to the candles, the more the stove will heat.

Place a coin to cover the hole

Place a coin to cover the hole in the pots so that the heat does not escape.

Place the pots over the previous pot

You can now place the pots over the previous smaller pot.

Wait a while for the heater to take temperature and you will see how the thermometer rises.

And.. It is done!

Ready! The cold is over

We live in the Southeast. I have plants/flowers in my greenhouse year around. I like to use the 4 or 8 hour burning candles.
