Cheesecloth on air conditioner window unit- is it safe?
Is it safe to put cheesecloth on my air conditioner window unit even when it's in use to make sure flies can't get in the house through it?

You could plug the space on the sides, and they shouldn't get in. Slide the accordian doors to the sides of the AC, then put the cheesecloth.
