I change it monthly. Some high quality ones say every three months but check and see- if it is covered in dust, it is time to replace!
Hi Elizabeth! Look online for your model and check for manufacturer recommendations. Mine recommends every three months.
Yes i got good quality ones and thank for answers i have copd and am disabled i really dont want to enhale nothing that will harm me.
I always advise every month. Have a mortgage change the filter when you pay. I use pleated filters. The blue woven ones let a lot of dust through.
Just like William, I change mine on the first of the month. I buy in bulk and always have a spare handy. If we have high winds, I check the filter, and if too dusty, I go ahead and change it. Better to be on a filter than in my house.
Thank s everyone for the great answers.
