What can I do about the dry heat in my bedroom?

now that winter is here i have dry heat in bedroom giving me nose bleeds i put humidifier in there but do i have to shut off heat vents in that room also its a small bedroom with two vents

The humidifier should help. Try closing the vents and see how you feel. It might get too cold in there. If so just close one. :)

Who told you to close the heat vents? NO, not necessary. Just use a room size humidifier.
