If the green house is small, perhaps a ceramic heater would be enough? They are safe and if tipped over will shut themselves off.

I think Lenora's idea is a good one. I'll just add to put it on a timer that has multiple times for off and on. That way you can set it to go off when the sun's been up long enough to warm up the greenhouse and then it turns back on as the day draws to a close.
Or a small heater that has a built in thermostate. That way when the temp falls to a certain level it will kick on all by itself.
Last winter I used a ceramic heater with a thermostat. I just set it and let it do it's thing. It worked wonderfully. My plants were still blooming in the spring.
