What brand air conditioner doesn’t drip?

    Lol... The refrigeration process condenses moisture from the air. It has to do this BEFORE it can even lower the room temperature. That's why you can't operate a humidifier during AC season. Therefore..... ALL air conditioners drip moisture from the condensate drain and it's supposed to be routed to the main floor drain in your basement or mechanical room.

    Hi Geri,
    A good question! Laura is right on track with her answer, they all drip whether they are window air conditioners or central air. The moisture is removed from the air by condensing on coils and it has to go somewhere, gravity or a pump takes it away either by routing it or naturally coming out of the bottom of the unit.

    All air conditioners are going to drip, they pull moisture out of the air while it cools.
