A/c reads 76 set at 73 . it is 90 outside what to do?

Prob time to call a serviceman. Sounds like either your thermostat is bag or your A/C just can't keep up. But beware in mind that if you live where the humidity is horrible (like northern Indiana) the A/C is winning it's little heat trying to dry that air as well as cool it. Have you changed your filter lately? Is your drain off hose draining? Good luck.

Hi. The thermostat is reading the room. Suggest heavier curtains on the windows and additional insulation. If you don't have any ceiling fans, add some. And have your a/c unit serviced for the coming cooler months.
