I dont want to destroy my boiler
Am doing cider in one, and was wondering if the milk would get too hot/boil if I fix it in another big coffeemaker for all the Christmas company?

What exactly are you making? I would invest (or rent) in insulated coffee pitchers. Sounds like you might scald the milk, and that would be hard to remove. I would heat on stove, and pour into a coffee thermos caraf for serving. -

The coffee maker may impart an odd taste to the milk. I would agree with Sharon. Heat it and put I an insulated carafe.
