Take them back to your eyecare provider. I pay extra for glass lenses with no coatings exactly for this reason.
If you purchased your glasses with scratch guard, you should take them to the place where you bought them. They should be under warranty, no matter how long you have them. Good Luck!
I can take mine into the optomotrists office and they clean up and adjust the fit too.
Take them in to an optical shop and see if they can record them or remove it.
Glasses are too expensive to try removing yourself, take to the optometrist's office
Don't attempt a DIY solution, or you may alter your prescription and end up with bigger problems.
Before you do anything else...Is it the scratch coat or is it hard to see after you clean them? I have had a scratch and anti-glare coating for decades. I do not clean them like they tell me to. It took me a while to find a way that would work. I rinse them well, with very warm water (NOT hot!) to remove any dirt that can scratch them. I then add a drop of dishwashing liquid on each lens both sides. I rub it around, rinse again with my fingers and very warm water, THEN I use the spray from the optician's office with the special cloth.
If I don't do this, I have a film which builds up and I cannot see. DH asks me to clean his too because he finds he gets a film on his as well.
One way to know, is could you see well when the optician first put them on you? If not it probably is the coating, if you could, it is probably a build up.
