  • I would Google for "apartment size" refrigerators. I have seen narrower and talker fridges advertised. With the "tiny house" craze they show mini versions of regular refrigerators - so there must be manufacturers out there. I would also check the web sites of all the local retailers in your area that carry kitchen appliances to see what they offer. Do not overlook local mom and pop shops, they sometimes have amazing stuff too. Plus sitting at home is easier than running to every store in town. Hope this helps or at least gets you started.

Sorry my computer took off on its own. I was about to say that I ordered what is called a "counter depth" fridge from Lowe's. It is not as deep as the regular fridge but holds about the same amount of food.

Most all appliances companies now carry counter depth refrigerators. Just go to your local appliance dealer and they can help you with. I am a firm believer in small businesses so go there first. you can find one in any brand such as Whirpool, Frigidaire, KitchenAide, Electrolux, etc. this is the second one I have had in my kitchen and love them. they way they are designed you do not miss those few inches in the front. (My husband works at a local business and his specialty is appliances.).

some sizes of fridges don't come counter depth, my 18 cf doesn't, but it is the correct zize for the allotted space, and enough space for air to circulate back to the coils.

another option is an RV refrigerator (that works on 110 Volts)

If the problem is door swing space, consider a side by side. Not my favorite fridge, but may be just what you need.

European appliances are usually smaller so this may help.
