How do I repair or replace an outside stove hood vent? It’s a manufactured home and the sun has cracked the plastic. Hornets love to make their nest in there as well.

I would unscrew the vent and add some screening behind the louvers so the bees can't get in. Or perhaps you can take it to a place like Menards to find a new one. You might be able to fill in the crack with some caulking.

Thank you but all along the top is missing the frame. Caulk won’t fill it. It’s all one piece frame and vent.

Contact a manufactured home repair. Some mobile home places have shops that sell items to repair them. You may find a vent there. First measure the size and take a picture...

Thank you but I went to mobile Home Depot. They didn’t carry anything like this.

After putting screen behind it so bees can't get in why not tack some trim up around the vent? Lowe's sells a silicon paste in a tube that you could apply. That should fix the broke frame. It dries in about 30 minutes and will withstand weather. I used the silicon to patch some holes in my shower (from taking the door frame off) and it has held up beautifully.

How about contacting Cavco or another mobile home manufacturer - preferably the one that made yours.
