How do I unplug the fabric softener dispenser from my washer?

I've tried several things including vinegar.

Try the clockwise to the left instead on pulling.

Super hot water poured through it will melt the softener.

Had to do that myself once. I took it out and soaked it in very hot water twice and kept flushing it. It took a while. After that I would take it out once in a while and flush it. Good Luck
