Kenmore 500 series washer "choke" clothes
Hello, I need some advice on issues related to top loading Kenmore 500 series washer (Model #110.29522800). First problem is that the agitator “choke” clothes while washing them. To put it clearly, the agitator squeezes and entangle them around the agitator base. When it happens, it is very hard to free (untangle) the clothes from the base. BTW, it seems to me that the agitator twist faster than before it did. Besides, there is a strange noise which apparently comes from the motor. Earlier, I thought that the problem was dogs. Therefore, I bought and installed a new repair kit with new dogs. However, this did not resolve the issue related to “choking” and the noise. How can I resolve the issue?

For best results contact the company and describe the symptoms your washer is displaying, give them the make and model number. You don't say how old your washer is or if there is an existing warranty. It maybe something you can fix under warranty or have you do some basic troubleshooting. They want to keep you as a good customer and should be more than willing to help.
contact the mfg. of the washer online or call them and ask them why this is happening- here is general info

Yes, best to contact the manufacturer or go to their website and enter the Model # information, etc. It might also help to load the washer in a different manner or style such as rather than laying the items around the agitator try just stacking items into the tub of the machine. If you've already had the machine serviced, contact that same service person for help.
That should not be happening. If this is a new washer, call the company. You also may be overfilling the washer.

I've often found help on appliance part websites. They usually have a chat box where you can ask for assistance and they've actually diagnosed problems for me, when it was a common issue. Then of course, they directed me to the proper part for the repair.
How old is the machine? I'd contact Kenmore about this model.
Sounds as though the Adjitator is not located down low enough and therefore allowing clothes to get caught underneath. Call the manufacturer and ask for advice fro the Service Desk or Technical Desk!
Just curious if the washer has always done this?
It could be an overfilling issue but I’d reach out to Kenmore for the best advice.
