How can I secure a glass panel on the oven?

I have a KitchenAid stove. I took apart the door to clean the glass on the inside. When I put it back in place, I couldn’t figure out how to secure the outside glass panel (the one that covers everything) using the brackets. Help!!

Hi Cathy. I see that you know the make of your stove. If you also know the model number, you can go on You Tube for a step-by-step tutorial. I was so surprised to find a tutorial on my 15 year old exhaust fan from my bathroom. I'm sure they can help you.

I agree with Cindy. Do a Google search for your make and model. You can find repair guides and Youtube videos. You can also go to https://www.repairclinic.com/ . They are my got to for appliance repair and parts.

I have learned the hard way to take pictures as I disassembled something and put the pieces in order, in a numbered egg carton.

If you can find an “exploded diagram” in an on-line shop manual or repair manual, that will work too.

Next time, clean the glass with a Brillo or SOS pad. I have a Kitchenaid stove, too, and use them on the glass all the time. They won't scratch it.

Call KitchenAid or Repair clinic. They will both help you on the phone with great instructions. I have KitchenAid products and have asked for help many times.

I agree with those suggesting you search for a youtube video regarding your problem. It is amazing that nearly every problem I've encountered someone else has already dealt with the same issue and provided a tutorial on how to diy it. From faucet washers to just your type of problem.

That is tricky I know just what your talking about open the door and check the screws on the side see if there there and screwed in tight if it’s still loos you might have not secured a clip you might need to open it again
