Bad siding
Does anyone know about a class action lawsuit concerning siding and how to find out about it?? TIA Becky

The name of the company that produced this siding was Masonite and Champion to name a few and while I do not have the particulars, there is and/or was a class action law suit filed against several manufacturers for this type of HDF, high density fiber, siding failure. Th siding hasn't been produced for several years now although several retailers still have it available. The lawsuit was over the same failures as seen in your photos. All the siding will need replacement. It will happen and continue to happen again if the same type of siding is used. These types of siding began hitting the market in the mid 70s and were widely used for almost 30 years and I see failures like this regularly.
