How can I reattach concrete face rock to concrete wall?

It is concrete with a roughed rocklike look that is narrow and usually applied to a vertical wall, like face bricks. Ours have begun falling off the base of our porch, and I've tried various adhesives to try to replace them, but the weather wins out.

It sounds like a kind of stucco, and we had something like that put on the cinderblock foundation. We had a problem with moisture and since yours sounds like it's at the bottom, you may have the same issue. Check your gutters and build up the ground around your porch so that it slopes away from the porch. I don't think any type of glue or bonding agent will work until everything is dry and that could take a while. When you're going to have rain (hopefully the snow is done for this year!), cover the area with plastic sloping it off of the porch to keep it dry. You can try using PL Premium when everything is dry. The PL Premium held our landscape blocks together and they can't be separated. It's like a cement wall. We ended up putting real stone around our foundation, we couldn't get rid of our moisture problem. We do live on an island at the beach, so water is always a problem. We also had a problem with the weed whacker chipping it off if you got to close. I'm sorry I couldn't help more, I hope I understood what you were talking about and I hope this helps.

This sounds right because the majority of the face stone that's detached is on the windward side where the rain blows, and the ground on that side doesn't drain as well as on the other two side. I will look into the PL Premium, and thanks for alerting me to the problem of retained moisture.
