We need lots more info, Pamela. Is your house on a hill or on low ground? Do you have gutters and downspouts on the home? Do you have ground sloping into your foundation? Do you have cracks in the basement floor or walls, etc, etc. Give us an idea of what's going on.
French drain on outside of foundation. Expensive but effective.
im on a hill my basement is under ground( wouldn't know I had one if you didn't come to back door). It's just flat foundation all way around, porches and all. Yes I have gutter and downspouts.
