Depends on where it is located. Is the bath above the living rm? Or next to living rm?

Hi Ruthie. I'm Cindy. In a perfect world, you could put insulation in the wall between the two rooms. That would eliminate any sound. If that's not an option, try hanging a rug on the wall in the living room. That will eliminate a lot of the sound. Good luck Ruthie.

Ruthie,. You'll need a little more insulation. You'll need to put up a new wall. Your walls are too thin, like mine. When men go to the bathroom, you hear it in my living room. Good Luck. Aloha
