Normally you can remove with a good sponge and warm soapy water. I prefer Blue Dawn and Scrub Daddy sponge.

You might be able to remove it with hot soapy water. Put it on a sponge and let it sit to soften the glue. If it's stubborn, try using vinegar in the solution. Equal parts of vinegar & water with a few squirts of Dawn should work. Wishing you the best.
I use one cup of vinegar to one gallon of hot water. Use a sponge.
Hot water and a rag soaks it off.
If it is Glue - Maybe try Surgical Spirit or sand.
