How is it stuck to the wall with what?? screws, glue etc...
If it's stuck on its own power. Just try to twist the rod to break the seal. If you have a cat put a blanket over it and let him jump up on it. My cat brings the rod down at least once a week during the summer to sit on the air conditioner and bask in the sun.
I think you turn it clockwise to remove it. If that seems to tighten it try counter clockwise. .But again the directions probably change depending on how it;ss installed. There's a spring in the middle and you need to loosen the pressure on it so you can get it off. It might help to look at one in a store to understand the mechanism.
Try a few taps with a hammer if the twisting doesn't work.
See if we put our minds to it we can find a solution to most problems. And we don't have to b....y to each other to do it. If you tap with hammer try to tap on top of rod by the cap ,then repeat on other end. Tells us if any of these work for you.
Is it stuck to tile, as in the shower area? WD-40 might do the trick. And if it's drywall, consider a couple drops of nail polish remover, however you'll have to do a touch up afterward.
